More than 400 guests connected at The Riverly launch event.
On Tuesday 14 October at Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club, more than four hundred people came together to celebrate the launch of The Riverly – a new connected community for vibrant seniors’ living.
The auditorium filled quickly with people who came looking for a sense of what their next stage of life could feel like, and the first building blocks of community began to take shape.
Guests heard from the club’s leadership team, including Chief Executive Officer Carl Pozzato. He spoke about the club’s long-standing commitment to the local community and how The Riverly will carry that legacy forward.
His message was simple but clear. Independence matters. Dignity matters. Connection matters. And those values sit at the heart of everything the club is building.
The keynote by longevity expert Marcus Pearce brought an extra layer of inspiration. As the author of Your Exceptional Life and host of the 100 Not Out podcast, he has spent years exploring what helps people age with purpose and joy.
His stories reminded everyone that growing older is not about slowing down but finding new ways to live well and highlighted the importance of movement, nurturing social connections, and having a clear sense of purpose.
After the presentations, guests explored early design plans and displays. Some guests chatted about the gardens, while others focused on the social spaces or the connection to the club.
But every conversation added to the same idea: The Riverly will be a place to live freely, with a network of support and friendship always close by.
